Pharmaceutical Combination products

In addition to drugs packaged in ampoules and vials, NIPRO also offers convenient combination products. These include Dual chamber bags (PLW®) for injection that reduce the effort required to mix drugs into solution. NIPRO develops high-value-added pharmaceuticals, such as by improving the persistence of drug efficacy and devising ways to prevent medical accidents.

Dual chamber bags (PLW®)

  • Bag-type combination product that combines powdered drug and dissolving solution
  • Compact design allows mixing by pressing on the solution chamber
  • Contract manufacturing for combination products with pharmaceutical companies
  • Design reduces risk of medical malpractice by preventing administration before medication has been mixed

Pre-filled syringes (PFS®)

  • Syringe-type combination product pre-filled with medication
  • Dosage and form can be adjusted to match the characteristics of the medication pre-filled in the syringe
  • In addition to pre-filled syringes as components, contract manufacturing of finished products is possible

Half-type kits

  • Combination product with a double-ended needle
  • Faster processing and easier handling than conventional methods
  • Designed with the inlet on top and IV infusion outlet on the bottom to eliminate the need for multiple needle punctures of the rubber septum, which reduces leakage and coring
